I think that this is doable via a makefile. Would solve a lot of headaches/prevent me from re-implementing a lot of features.

Of course, a makefile would only be able to do what asciisite currently does, most extra features would not be possible with a makefile. Perhaps another project entirely? 'makeSite'?
